Rasmy Shahnavaz
Licensed dentist.
Dr. Rasmy is a member of Privatandläkarna and founded Swedish Dental in 2005. Dr. Rasmy was the first to introduce guided surgery for dental implants in Sweden and has since trained many dentists in this technique.
In addition to Swedish, he also speaks English, Persian (Farsi), and French.
Arash Simyar
Licensed dentist.
Arash is also a member of the Private Dentists Association and has been performing implant procedures since graduating from Umeå University in 2010. Dr. Arash began working at Swedish Dental in 2012 and has been a partner there since January 2016.
In addition to Swedish, he also speaks English and Persian (Farsi).

I received my education at Karolinska University and have 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. I enjoy helping people regain their smile and sense of well-being. The healthier your mouth, the healthier you are!
What I’m most passionate about in dentistry is the treatment of periodontal disease in both natural teeth and dental implants.
I spend most of my free time with my family, working out, and hanging out with friends.
In addition to Swedish, I speak English, Arabic, and Assyrian.
Claire Collin
Licensed Dental Hygienist
I graduated from the Karolinska Institute in 2014. The best part of my job is that I get to meet different people every day and motivate them to improve their oral health.

Ziad Wahab
Licensed Dental Hygienist
I studied at Umeå University and graduated in 2001; since then, I have worked both at Folktandvården and in the private sector. During my time in the private sector, I have gained extensive and long-standing experience in outreach dental care. My main motivation for working as a dental hygienist is to support patients on their journey toward better oral health, which improves their quality of life.
In my free time, I usually spend time with my family and friends. My two favorite sports are squash and tennis.
In addition to Swedish, I also speak English, Arabic, and Persian.

Lina Myrberg
Supervisor, Dental Assistant
I started working here in 2016, and thanks to my colleagues, it’s even fun to go to work on an early November morning. This dental team excels at collaboration and motivates one another. Our approach makes the most of everyone’s different skills and experiences.
The best part of my job is seeing patients smile broadly and laugh with their whole face (without trying to hide their teeth anymore) for the first time in years, and knowing that I’ve played a part in helping them get their smile back.
Angelica Hovgren

My name is Angelica, and I’ve been working here at Swedish Dental since 2017. I live in Bålsta with my family. I became a certified dental assistant in 2003. I’ve never regretted my decision to become a dental assistant.
Before I came to Swedish Dental, I worked as an endodontic assistant for almost 5 years.
I see the whole person, not just their mouth—which might have something to do with my background in home health care. I really enjoy working with this wonderful team, and I think patients can tell because we have so much fun together.
In my free time, I spend time with my family and friends.
Sara Ayhan Özmen

My name is Sara Ayhan Özmen, and I work at Swedish Dental as a surgical dental nurse.
I’ve been working as a nurse since 2017. I love working with people and helping those in need improve their oral health!
It’s also fun to see and work with modern technology and the latest developments in dentistry.

Right after high school, I became interested in working in dentistry. I graduated as a dental assistant in 2018, and even during my internship, I really fell in love with my profession. I’ve been working in dentistry ever since and still enjoy it just as much! Patients say I have magic hands when I administer anesthesia.

My name is Sara Skifs, and I’ve been a receptionist at Swedish Dental since 2013.
My goal is for everyone who comes to us to feel comfortable and receive the best possible service from start to finish.
At the clinic, I’m inspired by my incredibly skilled and wonderful colleagues who have our patients’ best interests at heart. I also truly enjoy meeting and assisting our fantastic patients, who place their trust in us to take care of their oral health!
